This Tribute is supporting Turner Syndrome Support Society. If you want to help please make a Donation or consider creating a Fundraising Event. We are asking for donations for the TSSS as Emma was diagnosed with Turners Syndrome when she was 13 years old but has had it her whole life. It occurs when a baby girl is born with one X chromosome instead of 2. TS can cause other complications such as heart problems, restriction of height and other things. There isn't much explanation in to why or how TS occurs, but by lots of research girls with TS are able to increase their height by taking daily injections of growth hormone and hormone replacement for estrogen via tablets.
