I met Emma online over 5 years ago. We both had a love for YouTube and began talking which blossomed into a true friendship. We talked a lot at first but when we both got busy we still checked up on eachother. I was so proud of her and everything she did especially studying in london. We always talked about how much we loved london and wanted to go together. Last year I applied for a university in London and Emma was so excited when I told her. We were finally going to meet after being online friends for years. We made so many plans for when I finally moved which we were both so excited about. September rolled around and I moved to London but due to how busy life was we didn’t catch up for a few months. I’d tried contacting her as I missed my friend and wanted to finally meet her. After not getting a response I found out she had passed away. Her family may not know about me at all. But I’d just like to thank them for raising such a beautiful soul. She was there for me through my toughest times of my life and saved me when I didn’t think I could carry on. I am so blessed that I got to be friends online with such an amazing person inside and out. Just heartbroken that we will never be able to meet despite how much we talked about it.
